Forest Home Farms Historic Park is an ideal picnic location with great historical, vintage charm. The site has two unique offerings; the Glass House Garden and the Walnut Barn. Either location is perfect for your rustic picnic or unique choice for your wedding ceremony. Forest Home Farms is available dawn to dusk, seven days a week, March 1st through October 31st annually.
Forest Home Farms is still open as a public park and outdoor museum. Current Farm hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00am to 4:00pm.
There are plenty of picnic tables to allow a socially distanced picnic, as well as a self-guided tour and interactive park app to enjoy while on the property.
WALNUT BARN
This historic three sided barn is bursting with rustic appeal while still having the modern amenities you expect. The Walnut Barn and the surrounding grounds will definitely make for a very special event. Shabby chic…. eat your heart out.
GLASS HOUSE GARDEN
Situated outside of the fully restored 1877 Victorian Glass House, the Glass House Garden easily sets the scene for your vintage ceremony or picnic.
