San Ramon Government 101 - Spring 2026

The San Ramon Government 101 program is a dynamic, five-week civic education course designed to give residents an in-depth understanding of how your city operates.

Hosted by the City Clerk’s Office, the program covers a wide range of topics including City Administration, Finance Overview and Budget Process, and City Communications—offering insights into how decisions are made and services are delivered.

Participants also explore how San Ramon builds a thriving community through planning, engagement, and inclusive initiatives. A dedicated session on Maintaining and Advancing our City Infrastructure highlights the city’s work on streets, parks, facilities, and sustainability efforts. Public Safety Night provides a hands-on look at emergency services and law enforcement, fostering awareness and preparedness.

Classes take place on Monday evenings from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, beginning February 23, 2026, and are open to 25 residents aged 18 and older.

Registration for the Spring 2026 program will open in December.  Once the application period begins, we will post updates on our social media channels, and a link to the application will be available below.
