Have you ever considered running for office? Then consider checking out the Contra Costa Elections Division’s Candidate Workshops. These engaging workshops are designed to remove the mystery from running for office.
Experts will cover what’s involved in running for office, including how to file and appear on the ballot, campaign finance disclosure requirements, strategies for spreading your message (including social media), and what happens when you’re in the public eye.

City Council Meeting Presentation & Discussion on Tuesday, June 25 at 7 p.m.

At the City Council Meeting on Tuesday, June 25, the San Ramon City Council will receive a presentation on a community poll recently conducted, and provide direction to staff whether to bring forward a potential sales tax measure for the November 2024 ballot.
Residents are encouraged to attend and provide Public Comment.
No final decisions will be made on this item at the June 25 meeting. Discussion on the item will continue at the City Council Meeting on July 9. A final decision will be made at the City Council Meeting on July 23.

The 2024 Run San Ramon presented by the City of San Ramon is celebrating its 39th year!
Run San Ramon features 5K and 10K events and the Fastest Mile. Get a healthy start to your 4th of July with this Independence Day classic. Enjoy the paved and looped course through San Ramon. The Run San Ramon 5K, 10K, and Fastest Mile will be a chip-timed race.
Register online through July 3, or in-person at packet pickup.
Packet pick-up will be at Sports Basement San Ramon (1041 Market Place, San Ramon CA 94583) on Wednesday, July 3, from 1–5 p.m. Runners can grab their shirt and bib along with any race-day essentials. Show your race bib at checkout for up to 20% off everything in-store!

The San Ramon Fourth of July Celebration Concert at the Central Park Amphitheater (12501 Alcosta Blvd, San Ramon CA 95683) will feature 3 Queens of Motown performing a high-energy tribute show to the legendary music of Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner and Diana Ross!
The evening will begin with patriotic music from Olympia Fields, and a tribute to our veterans.
The San Ramon Arts Foundation will have food, wine, beer, soda, and water available for purchase.
Shade structures, tents, and umbrellas will only be permitted at the top of the ridge/hill to ensure lines of sight remain open.

Applications are open for the San Ramon Police Department's popular Community Academy for those who live or work in San Ramon!
The Fall 2024 session begins on August 14 and meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30–9:30 p.m. at San Ramon Police Department (2401 Crow Canyon Road, San Ramon CA 95683). The session will conclude on October 30.
This is an immersive program that covers a wide variety of topics and includes a day at the range, tour of the County Jail and a high-speed driving course.

The app enables residents to connect with SRV and is available for download in the App Store and Google Play online stores. The new solution also simplifies the service request process for the staff, allowing them to easily track the issue and communicate with citizens.

- Completed eastbound paving operations
- Opened Barbados Drive
- Completed eastbound striping operations
Work Planned Through 6/27/24:
- Eastbound landscape and irrigation work
- Continue westbound Crow Canyon Road storm drain work. This work requires closure of one westbound travel lane.
- Pour concrete median tips
- Site cleanup
