The City of San Ramon is pleased to announce the restoration of Monday operating hours at the San Ramon Library (100 Montgomery Street), beginning on March 31, providing greater access to resources, programs, and services for the community.
Beginning March 31, the San Ramon Library will be open on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., offering more opportunities for patrons to enjoy the library’s offerings.
The updated weekly schedule for the San Ramon Library will be:
Monday – Thursday 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Friday – Saturday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday Closed
The San Ramon City Council approved the restoration of the 10 additional operating hours at the City Council Meeting on February 28, 2025.
Ten hours were previously reduced as part of cost reduction measures to balance the City’s fiscal year 2024–25 budget (July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025).
With the passage of Measure N (a 1% local sales tax measure) in November 2024, additional revenue will offset the expenses associated with restoring library operating hours.
