 Overview and Timeline 

The City of San Ramon's budget process is complete. 

For the last several months, the City has been developing the operating budget for Fiscal Year 2025/26 (FY26), which begins on July 1, 2025 and ends on June 30, 2026.

The City Council is required to pass a balanced budget no later than June 30, 2025, which will be effective July 1, 2025.

Current Status 

The final step of the FY26 Budget Process took place as part of the City Council Meeting on Tuesday, May 27, when the City Council unanimously voted to adopt of the Fiscal Year 2025/26 Proposed Budget by resolution.

The final step of the Budget Process took place as part of the regular City Council Meeting on Tuesday, May 27.
