Join us for an amazing total body workout.  Shallow water and deep water classes available.  The buoyancy of the water is easy on participants joints and the resistance of the water helps towards achieving your fitness goals.  Classes will use aerobics choreography and great music to keep participants moving and cheerful.  Workouts are designed to improve to improve cardiovascular endurance, coordination, range of motion, muscle tone and flexibility while using the resistance of water. 

Shallow water classes are low impact, basic to moderate intensity where participants can stand on the bottom of the pool during the workout.  No swimming experience needed for shallow water classes.  

Deep water classes are non impact, moderate intensity where participants feet cannot touch the bottom of the surface.  Participants must be able to swim to join the deep water class.  Aqua noodles or flotation belts will be used in the class. While COVID-19 restrictions are in place, participants must provide their own equipment.

Do you have the skills to provide basic CPR and First Aid for a friend or family member in an emergency? Learn how to respond to emergencies with this community based CPR/AED and Basic First Aid training course. Receive a two year certification after successful completion of the course.

Learn to dance in water with the world-renowned Walnut Creek Aquanuts! These amazing camps showcase the beauty, grace and athleticism of Artistic Swimming (formerly known as synchronized swimming), while learning basic skills of the sport. Campers will participate in an artistic swimming performance at the end of the week to show off their talents and hard work.

Dive deep with personalized diving lessons with California Diving Academy.  Designed for total beginners all the way to the most advanced divers, each participant safely advances at their own pace through individually tailored skills designed for advancement.    

Prerequisites: Participants must be able to swim 25yards without stopping and be willing to retrieve an object from the bottom of the pool (12-13.5ft). Participants must pay a one-time membership fee ($20) to AAU prior to the first day. California Diving Academy t-shirt provided with AAU registration. Register as a new athlete at www.DiveAAU.org.

FUNdamentals of Diving Camp

Come explore the FUNdamentals of diving! Safely dive into the sport and experience the art, power and grace of springboard diving. Learn the basics of diving through in-water, on-deck and classroom training. By the end of the week, campers will be enjoying the high flying sport of diving. See you in the air!

Seal Team SCUBA Camp
When you get right down to it, water is just plain cool!  Our camp has been designed for you, the young diver!  This exciting new program is built around the action packed PADI Seal Team.  Each day campers will complete an AquaMission, which will take you on an underwater pool adventure where you will learn and complete activities while using the provided scuba equipment.

The first day you will be developing your snorkeling skills and the rest of the week, you will be diving to the depths of the pool while expanding your diving skills and knowledge.

Campers must be comfortable swimming in the deep end. $139 supply fee payable to the instructor on the first day of camp.

Love the pool and love camp? Get the best of both worlds when you jump in and make splash in the Star Guard Aquatic Camp! With activities in the pool, on the field and in the classroom, there is no shortage of fun. Daily swim lessons are included in camp along with important personal water safety lessons.

The City of San Ramon is partnering with Arora Tennis to offer non-stop fun to children this summer. In the morning, campers will learn and improve their tennis skills at Arora Tennis Camp. After a supervised lunch from 12pm-1pm (please bring your own lunch - no lunch provided), campers will spend the afternoon at the Dougherty Station Aquatic Center with City Aquatics Staff, swimming and playing games in and out of the water.
