San Ramon Government 101 - Spring 2024
The San Ramon City Clerk's Office hosts San Ramon Government 101, a class designed to enhance residents' understanding of city government, and encourage participation in the City’s committees, commissions, and other volunteer opportunities.
Previous class evaluations elicited these participant responses:
“This was wonderful! Greater appreciation for all that it takes to run, and manage, maintain our great City.”
“Great program! I am proud to be a San Ramon resident.”
The San Ramon City Clerk’s Office will host the 15th session of San Ramon Government 101 in the Spring of 2023. The class goal is to enhance understanding of local government and departmental functions and encourage participation in the City’s various Committees and Commissions.
The classes will be held on Mondays starting on February 26, 2024. The course runs for eight weeks. Each class begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. Sessions will be held in different City facilities based on the presenting department. There will be a formal recognition of class participants at a City Council meeting.
The class is free, but space is limited to 25 residents, over 18 years of age.
