What is a Zoning Clearance?

A Zoning Clearance is utilized to verify that a proposed land use or structure complies with the allowed list of uses in an applicable Zoning District, and verify the land use or structure comply with the applicable development and performance standards. Zoning Clearance Applications are typically used to administratively review new businesses with the applicable zoning for a property.
