San Ramon Municipal Election Results Certified
On December 3, the Contra Costa County Clerk-Recorder’s Office certified the results of the November 5, 2024 Municipal Election.
Mark H. Armstrong was elected the next Mayor of San Ramon. Robert Jweinat was elected the next City Council member from District 1, and Sridhar Verose was re-elected as the City Council member from District 3.
Voters also approved Measure N, a ballot measure to adopt a 1% local sales tax in San Ramon.

Letters to Santa
The City of San Ramon has a special red mailbox, and the letters are delivered directly to the North Pole. Write Santa a letter and you will receive a reply from Santa Claus himself!
Santa's red mailbox is located in the lobby of San Ramon City Hall (7000 Bollinger Canyon Road).
Parents will receive the original letter back and Santa will send his reply directly to the child. You can choose to have your child write a letter themselves or fill out our . Please be sure to print your child's name and address so Santa can reply.
All letters must be received by December 16. The letter from Santa will be mailed by December 20.
San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District presents
Santa Claus is Coming to San Ramon
Saturday, December 7
Route Begins at 4:30 p.m.
City Center from 6–8 p.m.
Join Santa as he catches a ride on a Fire Truck through San Ramon this Saturday, December 7!
Line the neighborhood streets along the route. You can track Santa in real time as he cruises around town. Once Santa and the Fire Truck arrive at the end of the route you can stop by for pictures with Santa, meet the Firefighters and checkout the Fire Truck.
The Santa route will begin at Athans Down Park at 4:30 p.m. and will finish at the San Ramon City Center at approximately 6 p.m. Santa and the Fire Truck will be available for pictures until 8 p.m.

Volunteer Opportunity: City Hall Docents for Third Grade Tours
The San Ramon City Clerk’s office is seeking docents to lead third grade school tours of City Hall during the 2024/25 school year. The program includes a tour of City Hall, and a scripted mock City Council meeting.
The tours are scheduled on weekdays from 9:30–11 a.m. Docents do not need to be present for every tour and may select dates when available.
All volunteers must be 18 or older and pass a background and fingerprint check. Applications must be submitted to the City Clerk.

Spaces Still Available!
New Traffix Service to Iron Horse Middle School
TRAFFIX is now offering limited bus service to Iron Horse Middle School (IHMS). This service will serve IHMS in the mornings only, with no return service for the afternoons.
Fifteen seats have been allocated on the CA17A route exclusively for IHMS students. The CA17A route is a newly established route servicing the eastern side of Crow Canyon Road and Alcosta Boulevard.
The designated bus stop at Alcosta Boulevard and Woodland Drive is adjacent to the IHMS gym, near the softball field.
The IHMS bus service will operate four (4) mornings a week, excluding Wednesdays, to help reduce traffic congestion. The first three rows of the bus will be reserved exclusively for IHMS students.
Passes for the remainder of the year are priced at $120.

Construction Continues Between Alcosta Blvd & St. George Road
Work continues on the Crow Canyon Widening Project between Alcosta Boulevard and Crow Canyon Private (Cobblestone).
Work Recently Completed Through 12/5/24:
- Completed curb and gutter
- Completed westbound CMU wall work
- Crow Canyon Road and El Capitan completely paved
- Roadway striping
Work Planned Through 12/10/24:
The work listed below requires lane closures.
