The San Ramon Government 101 program is a dynamic, seven-week civic education course designed to give residents an in-depth understanding of how your city operates.
Hosted by the City Clerk’s Office, the program covers a wide range of topics including City Administration, Finance Overview and Budget Process, and City Communications—offering insights into how decisions are made and services are delivered.
Participants also explore how San Ramon builds a thriving community through planning, engagement, and inclusive initiatives. A dedicated session on Maintaining and Advancing our City Infrastructure highlights the city’s work on streets, parks, facilities, and sustainability efforts. Public Safety Night offers an opportunity to engage with law enforcement and learn more about public safety efforts and fostering community awareness.
Classes take place on Monday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m., beginning March 2, 2026, and are open to residents aged 18 and older.
