City of San Ramon News & Information Update

 Thursday, September 6, 2024

UPDATED DATES: Full Closure of Bollinger Canyon Road between Camino Ramon and Market Place Begins Monday, September 9

Bollinger Canyon Road will be completely closed between Camino Ramon and Market Place beginning this Monday, September 9 through Sunday, September 15.

Detours will be in place to direct traffic around the construction zone.

City Hall and the Marketplace Shopping Center will be open with access from westbound Bollinger Canyon Road.

This roadway closure was originally scheduled to begin on Saturday, September 7. The City of San Ramon has worked with the contractor to reduce the full closure of Bollinger Canyon Road by two days, and the closure will now begin two days later, at 5 a.m. on Monday, September 9 and continue through Sunday, September 15.

This roadway closure is required to conduct a critical phase of construction on the Iron Horse Trail Bicycle and Pedestrian Overcrossing, where the Overcrossing structure within the roadway limits will be built. Once this work is complete, the silhouette of the Overcrossing will be visible.

For more detail, please see the detour map below.
