Fall 2024 - Community Planning Academy Returns!
The San Ramon Community Development Department anticipates hosting the 7th session of San Ramon Community Planning Academy in the fall of 2024. The goal of the Academy is to educate and engage residents in the City’s planning process. The Academy will provide an overview of why cities plan, how planning shapes our community, and the land use planning process. The course concludes will discuss the role and responsibilities of the Planning Commission and its relationship to the City Council and Architectural Review Board.
The classes are anticipated to be held on 4 consecutive Mondays beginning September 9. Each class begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m., and will be held at City Hall. Following completion of the course, there will be a formal recognition of class participants at a City Council meeting.
The class is free, but space is limited to 20 residents, over 18 years of age.

The 2024 Community Planning Academy application form is now available! All completed application forms must be submitted to the Community Development Department by Friday, August 2, 2024 either in-person, by mail, or by email to:
