State of the City 2025: Recording Now Available

On March 5, San Ramon Mayor Mark Armstrong shared the annual State of the City address at an event hosted by the San Ramon Chamber of Commerce.
The presentation includes updates on the City's financial outlook, parks, transportation, housing, and more.

FY2026 Budget Process to Begin at Upcoming City Council Meeting
Tuesday, March 25 at 7 p.m.
San Ramon City Hall

The City of San Ramon is beginning its annual budget process, which will begin as part of the regular City Council Meeting on Tuesday, March 25 at 7 p.m. at San Ramon City Hall (7000 Bollinger Canyon Road, San Ramon CA 94583).
At the meeting, City staff will provide an overview of:
- What the budget process and timeline will look like over the next several months
- FY2025 year-end projections
- Initial FY2026 budget requests
- Measure N projections and impacts
The agenda with full details will be posted 72 hours ahead of the meeting at .
The meeting will also be streamed live on the City's , and a recording will be available to watch after the meeting.

St. Patrick's Day Concert

The San Ramon Community Chorus will be performing a FREE St. Patrick’s Day Concert with Irish dancers this Friday, March 14 at 7 p.m. at the Front Row Theater at Dougherty Station Community Arts Center (17011 Bollinger Canyon Road, San Ramon, CA 94582).
The event is free and open to all ages.

The Art and Wind Festival is the City of San Ramon’s largest event, and returns May 25–26, 2025!
The Art and Wind Festival attracts people from across the Bay Area (and beyond!) to San Ramon’s beautiful Central Park and throughout the City. Last year the Art and Wind Festival drew approximately 40,000 people to the two-day event.

100 Year Anniversary Celebration

On Sunday, March 30, celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Veterans Memorial Building of San Ramon Valley (400 Hartz Ave., Danville) with a day-long family celebration featuring theme and photo displays, vintage vehicles, period costumes, art activities, small bites from local restaurants, live music, a scavenger hunt, historic downtown Danville walking tours, and more!
Voices of San Ramon: Teen Open Mic

Voices of San Ramon Teen Open Mic events give storytellers ages 14–18 a space to use their voice and explore our world’s oldest medium of language while expanding their craft and audience. This event takes place Friday, April 7 at 7 p.m. at the Front Row Theater at Dougherty Station Community Arts Center (17011 Bollinger Canyon Road, San Ramon, CA 94582), and will be facilitated by San Ramon Poet Laureate Jaz Sufi. We will be creating a safe, inclusive space for all who attend.
Attendance is free and sign-ups will be taken when you arrive.

Construction Update: Iron Horse Trail Overcrossing

Work continues on the Iron Horse Trail Overcrossing at Bollinger Canyon Road. Please see below for anticipated upcoming work and impacts to traffic flow.
Work Recently Completed Through 3/13/25:
- Completed anti-graffiti coating
- K-rail removal from roadway
Work Anticipated Through 3/19/25:
- Irrigation
- Electrical work - watch for lane closures
- Continue plant and tree delivery / installation
- Continue placement of landscape elements
- Continue handrail delivery / installation
The anticipated completion date for the Overcrossing is Summer 2025.

Construction Update: Crow Canyon Widening

The Crow Canyon Widening Project between Alcosta Boulevard and Crow Canyon Private (Cobblestone) is substantially complete.
Remaining work includes completing roadway utility adjustment work, and completing punch list items and restoration. These tasks may require lane closures.
